    Take your car to a place that does radiator repair so they can open up the radiator and unclog the small valves inside. It seems the water(coolant) isn’t circulating and with the heat,it’s building up pressure.

    I have a Buick Century of the same year, and my car was doing the same thing. On my car, it was discovered that the fan casing behind the radiator cracked from having a jack placed there and jammed the fan, which helps cool down the radiator fluid. Once the fan motor was replaced and a new fan casing installed, the problem has never resurfaced. Good luck to you. =)

    Could the radiator cap,radiator.If you drove it hot,probably head gasket or cracked head.Good luck and dont drive it hot.I have bought a bad thermostat more than once.

    Boiling water into the tank? Not a good sign. Without a proper inspection it’s hard to be sure, but it sounds like you have a problem with the head gaskets at the very least. It may turn into much more once the vehicle is apart. Another sign is when you don’t have heat when you turn the heat on.

    new water pump and thermostat enough money and time spent, Other possibilities radiator and cap , coolant fan, head or gasket, maybee leaking heater core…… have a pro check it out

    it sounds like a blown head gasket and if thats the case its some $$$
