Does any one know ways that you can modify your home appliances to conserve water?

Prego Sauce(aka Buster) asked:

Example: In my Home i have a 6L. toilet tank on the back of my toilet, to conserve even more water and limit the amount used to flush, i put rocks in the bottom of my tank. So to go back to my question, are there any methods i may used to modify the ways I use water for conservation. Sources are limitles and may come from your vast range of intelectual knowledge or from a reliable source on the internet; please and thank you!!! :) Without spending any money on new devices, just using what you have at home.

tighten slightly the master water valve to reduce the pressure and amount of water that comes out of the tap.

You might try a new “low-water” shower head.
