Good shrimp for a salt water nano tank?

Sarah H asked:

I have a friend to help me with the startup and maintenance aspects of a salt water tank, he’s got an amazing one in his home and I’m pretty well-versed in freshwater keeping.

My question is what are some really interesting shrimp (I don’t want any fish, it’s too small - 3 gallons) that are interesting and won’t kill each other.

I’m looking to have 2-3 shrimp, maybe some crabs or some snails.

I know nothing about salt water creatures so please suggest easier ones.

What about getting a few sexy anemone shrimp? They are interesting to look at, or harlequin shrimp.

Fire shrimp, or peppermint shrimp. Sexy shrimp are pretty cool too.
