Rain water reserves to help the earth?
Cindy Lou asked:
Instead of using tons of bottled water, is there any way to take rain water and purify it at home to use for consumption? Like home water tanks, that the government would give a credit for installing?

Well in a way you could. Some countries use rain water for toilets, then saving the purified water for drinking and showering. they catch rain water and pump it into reserviors that gravity feed toilets thus saving more than half of the water consumed daily by family households. A simple chlorine brick can be used in the water tower or reservoir to keep the water clean enough to flush,,, cheers
What you’re suggesting is common and as old as the Bible, except for the government credit thing.
You are suggesting that I pay for YOUR water tanks.
That’s like me suggesting that YOU pay for MY shotgun.
Well the government shouldn’t have to pay you for common sense, but you can collect rain water and use for the garden or planters and pots, and for watering in general. You may have to treat it for mosquitoes but I wouldn’t recommend drinking it as it cleans the air on its way down.Your regular tap water is as clean as it gets.
